 Universiti Tenaga Nasional 

Universiti Tenaga Nasional commenced operation in 1976 as Institut Latihan Sultan Ahmad Shah (ILSAS), which served for many years as the corporate training center for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and its predecessor, the National Electricity Board. In 1994, ILSAS was transformed into an institute of higher learning and renamed Institut Kejuruteraan Teknologi Tenaga Nasional (IKATAN). It offered academic programmes in engineering and business management at undergraduate and graduate levels through twinning links with local and foreign universities. In 1997, IKATAN was upgraded to Universiti Tenaga Nasional.

University Tenaga Nasional provides up-to-date facilities for learning, teaching and research as well as modern residential and recreational facilities.

MASJID UNITEN

For Muslims in UNITEN, management provides a mosque for Muslim students spiritual activities there.

VICE PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY

Vice Presidential Library Provides Various Reference Books For Students make reference. Library president also not only provides reference books in the library there but there are also on-line reference for students referred from a distance.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICES

Universiti Tenaga Nasional provides bus services for students' mobility within the campus daily. This website provides you with up-to-date information about the bus services. Two different schedules are available ie. the Monday to Friday shuttle and the weekend shuttle.

In UNITEN also use the new service in the coming future is parking car charger.

FOOD CENTRES & SHOPPING ARCADE

At the main campus,there is a shopping arcade selling items needed by students, a bookshop, two auto-teller machines (ATM) as well as a number of food courts, cafeterias as well as a floating restaurant, all of which serve local and international dishes.

The loop UNITEN provide indoor activities among these are pool and more.

MINI STADIUM

Uniten also provides a mini stadium for football, athletics, and other activities that require a wide area.

UNITEN has an Olympic-sized swimming pool which is a part of the Campus sports and recreational facilities. The pool is open for students, staff, teaching groups as well as the public.

This facility is provided for the use of all.  As such, the opening hours have been allocated for staff, students, women and family groups.

 1. STUDENT APARTMENT - ROOM alone
     1.1 Four individual room in a student apartment unit.
     1.2 A Roommate

 2. STUDENT APARTMENT - twin room
     2.1 Two twin room in a student apartment unit.
     2.2 Two people per room.

 3. APARTMENT STUDENT SEXUAL
       3.1 Double room & 1 single for each Unit Double Student Apartments.
       3.2 The living room & dining room, kitchen, toilet, bathroom & separate suspensions for
              each sex student apartments.

• CONCEPT OF ACCOMMODATION

Concept in university accommodation is based on the concept of the  Apartments Student (Student Apartment). This means that it is not the same as hostels normal IPT.

The units of apartment  contains:

a) Space room
b) Study room
c) Kitchen
d) 4 private bedroom or 2 bedroom twin
e) Bathroom and toilet
f) The quality of furniture and fittings

Bangi campus, there are 2 types of accommodation :

a) Rooms alone (10-storey apartment block, with lift)
b) Twin room (3 storey apartment block, without a lift)

Price of Apartment

1. Individual Room RM 280.00 / month (RM 1,120 / semester) 4 people one Apartment

2. Twin Room RM 200.00 / month 4 persons per Apartment

THE ACTIVITIES IN UNITEN

University Tenaga National (UNITEN) is just not providing you a high quality education and with their highly experience lecturers also give you the best experience learning in UNITEN.
Besides all the academic stuff, UNITEN also providing you the best activities, hence it varieties! Have Fun.

One of uniten famous club, kayaking! Rowing Club.

Rowing Club, has their tournement in Varsity Boat Race was held on 5 – 11 OCTOBER 2009 in Putrajaya, Malaysia. They were in 4th and 3rd places.

Uniten rugby club, Uniten Thunder preparing for their match

Uniten Thunder vs The Ranger, a friendly match was held on 17 APRIL 2010.
However, this match were delay because its raining.

Reflection bout Uniten

Now i am studying at UNITEN, I get a wide range of valuable experience. among them is that I can learn to live independently in all things. things like this can instill good values ​​in me.

Besides that, in my opinion and my observation, UNITEN has produced many students who can be competitive with the outside community.

facilities available in UNITEN sufficient for students. UNITEN provide comfort to the students. eg place of residence, place of worship and places of leisure accurate.

however, in the same sour there are also negative. Internet facility is certainly given to students in UNITEN but melayai internet speed to be at a slow rate. this made the students had difficulty finding information on the internet.

in addition, the tuition fees charged can be expensive. This causes difficulty in circumstances such as students who have not received any sponsorship to pay off their tuition fee ..

secara jujurnya, sememangnya saya sangat gembira dapat belajar di uniten. saya berharap saya mendapat apa yang saya impikan apabila belajar di uniten.
